For more than a decade, the Shenandoah Valley Equine Rescue Network has been a lifeline for horses in need. Since opening its doors, SVERN has taken in over 150 horses from police seizures and heartbreaking abandonments, providing rescue, rehabilitation, and the chance at a forever home. More than 75 of these horses have already found loving families, thanks to the dedication of volunteers and supporters like you.

But saving lives doesn’t come without cost. Every day, SVERN faces the immense responsibility of feeding, boarding, and caring for horses—covering veterinary visits, medicines, farrier services, and countless other expenses that ensure these animals can heal and thrive.
